Apple Updates Remote App with iPad and Retina Display Support - Mac Rumors: "As predicted, Apple has updated their Remote app that allows iOS users to control iTunes and their Apple TV from their devices. The app hadn't been updated for nearly a year, but has finally received a 2.0 update that brings support for the iPad, Retina display and new Apple TV. New features listed include:

From the satin bow on her veil to the black piping on her dress, Nickie Vavrik executed perfectly her plan to bring to life the limited edition Vera Wang Barbie bridal doll her grandmother had given her more than a decade ago.
She just wasn't counting on getting married on the hottest day of the year.
The Friday afternoon wedding at a Little Italy church without air conditioning had Vavrik a little nervous. But as she checked her rose bouquet, she was determined not to let the heat ruin her big day.
'The church is dark. It has six fans. I'm wearing spray-on foundation,' said Vavrik, 35.
The high on Friday reached 94, but the mix of heat and humidity made it feel like 104.

'They're getting panicky,' Ed Pavlick of Around the Town Heating and Cooling said of the many customers desperately calling to get their fried air conditioners fixed.
ComEd officials said they were getting calls too, from people wondering why their bills were so much higher than they were a year ago.
It's the heat. The mercury hit 90 or higher four times the entire summer in 2009. This July alone, Chicago has had 12 days in the 90s.

One of the things our publishers have always asked for are ways to make it even easer to configure their blogs to work with FeedBurner and AdSense for Feeds. We're happy to announce that Blogger users, with just a few clicks, are able to do both at the same time.
Yes, this year for Halloween, AdSense for feeds is putting on a Blogger costume and allowing all Blogger publishers to easily monetize your RSS and Atom feeds directly from the Blogger interface, in the same way you set up AdsSense on your blog beforehand.
To set this up, go to Blogger and select the blog you wish to monetize on your Blogger Dashboard, and select 'Monetize.' This will give you some basic options for configuring ads, and if you already have connected your Blogger feed to FeedBurner, will confirm that the proper feed is being configured. AdSense for feeds will automatically pick the right ad sizes for your users, content, and end medium."
